ILLUSTRATION AND DESIGN

Go beyond basic graphic design. This intensive module transforms you into a commercial brand architect. You will learn how to take a raw concept from a rough sketch to a polished, print-ready, or digital asset deployed by global brands in the gig economy.
Comprehensive brand identity systems, typography hierarchies, layout architecture, and color theory psychology. You will also master critical pre-press production standards (CMYK vs. Pantone, bleed, and safe zones) and how to create professional pitch decks for international clients.
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and modern UI/UX prototyping tools like Figma.
A strong creative intuition, basic understanding of design principles, a personal laptop (Core i5/8GB RAM minimum recommended), and the $80 enrollment fee.
CINEMA, VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY

Step onto a real commercial set. This hands-on masterclass strips away amateur habits and instills broadcast-level production standards. You will learn to operate high-end gear and direct talent under real-world agency pressure.
The physics of lighting and shaping shadows, professional camera rigging and stabilization, on-set audio capture, and set management. You will also master the full post-production pipeline, including international color grading and broadcast delivery codecs.
Cinema Cameras (Sony/Blackmagic), Studio Lighting Grids, Audio Recorders, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
Foundational video knowledge, a personal portfolio demonstrating an eye for composition, a laptop capable of video editing, and the $80 enrollment fee.
MOTION GRAPHICS

Static design is no longer enough in the modern gig economy. This module bridges the gap between graphic design and high-end video production, teaching you how to command attention through dynamic, commercial-grade motion.
Advanced keyframing and organic movement using the Speed Graph, kinetic typography, 2.5D camera tracking, and integrating 3D elements into live-action footage. You will also learn to write JavaScript expressions to automate repetitive animation tasks.
Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D (Lite), and Mocha AE for advanced tracking.
Prior experience with graphic design software (Photoshop/Illustrator), a personal laptop with a dedicated GPU, and the $80 enrollment fee.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Modern creative agencies rely on robust, high-speed technical backbones. This track turns you into the architect of digital deployment, focusing on the critical intersection of creative execution and flawless technical infrastructure.
Local Area Network (LAN) configurations for heavy media servers, containerization, full-stack web application deployment, and setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient cloud hosting.
Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), Docker, Cisco IOS networking, Git/GitHub version control, and basic Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
Basic programming logic, an understanding of computer networks, a personal laptop, and the $80 enrollment fee.
2D ANIMATION (TOON BOOM HARMONY)

Enter the highly lucrative world of broadcast-quality animation. As demand for explainer videos and entertainment booms, this module trains you in the exact software pipelines used by major global studios like Disney and Netflix.
Advanced digital puppet engineering, skeletal rigging, node-based compositing, and lip-syncing techniques. You will learn to capture authentic character performance through both frame-by-frame and cut-out animation workflows.
Toon Boom Harmony Premium, Storyboard Pro, and Adobe Animate (Supplementary).
Fundamental drawing skills, a basic understanding of the 12 principles of animation, a personal laptop, a digital drawing tablet (highly recommended), and the $80 enrollment fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is an intensive skills-acquisition and portfolio-building program, not a salaried corporate job. Interns are not paid a salary, and you are responsible for your own daily transport but meals are provided. Our focus is on making you 'Gig Economy Ready' so you can land high-paying commissions immediately after.
You will need a personal laptop for your individual editing, design, and IT workflows. However, you DO NOT need to own expensive cinema cameras, lights, or studio gear. Your $80 Sign-Up Fee covers unrestricted access to TsolHub's professional studio equipment and premium software licenses.
The core program runs for a standard duration of 3 months. High-performing interns may be invited to extend their stay for advanced, specialized client projects.
This program requires serious commitment and physical presence at our Kampala studios on your assigned days. While we offer some flexibility for students to attend lectures, you must be able to dedicate significant weekly hours to your module to successfully graduate and earn your certificate.
You DO NOT pay anything to apply. The $80 Sign-Up Fee is only paid AFTER you have passed the interview stage and received an official acceptance letter. Once paid and your staff ID/software access is processed, the fee is non-refundable.
We frequently recruit our top-performing interns into our junior ranks or add them to our paid freelance roster. While employment is not guaranteed, your primary takeaway is a commercial portfolio and the industry standards required to get hired by any top agency.
While raw beginners with intense passion are welcome, having a foundational understanding of your chosen module and a basic portfolio (even personal projects) will give you a significant advantage during the selection process.
No. Because this program focuses heavily on real-world studio execution, physical cinema rigging, and high-end collaborative pipelines, you must be based in or able to easily commute to our studios in Kampala.
